Letting process
1. Look at the advert including location, photos, rent, dates and description.
2. View a virtual tour. We'll send you various documents at this stage too.
3. View in person.
4. When you have decided that this is the house for you, pay one week's rent as a holding deposit (that is deducted from the years rent). The house is then reserved for your group.
5. We send out the tenancy and other documentation for electronic signing.Check out our properties online and call or email us. We will then make the necessary arrangements and either email or call you to confirm times. We recommend that as many of your group as possible attend the viewing.
Guarantor
Each person will be required to complete a “tenant information form” with their personal details, name, email address, mobile number etc. and also to provide the name of a guarantor (usually parent or close relative) who will guarantee the tenant’s performance under the terms and conditions of the AST during the tenancy period. We will then write to that person asking them to sign the appropriate form.
Rent
The termly rent as per the AST will need to be paid on the dates the student loans are received. The tenant is required to set up the payment arrangement via online banking and we will require confirmation that this has been done.
Utility costs
The rent includes all utility costs - gas, electricity, water, Virgin FIBRE 1GIGABYTE broadband. A flat screen TV is provided in every property (min 55 inch) and TV License is also provided. Some properties have wall mounted smart TVs in the bedrooms.
Key collection
We will email you all in advance with the arrangements for the day your tenancy commences. We will meet you at the house when you move in.
